This week has been great but also a little stressful, there is only one month left in the semester which means that exams and projects are coming due. I also worked a lot of events this week trying to make sure I get all my hours done before the end of the semester.
One of the events I worked was the French Film Festival, it was a lot of fun watching a movie in a different language and learning more about film and why producers and actors do certain things. I also worked the Cincinnati Shakespear event where students from different high-schools came to watch the performance of Romeo and Juliet. It was encouraging to see that students were given the opportunity to experience this play for free and deepen their education through art.
With school this week I had an Exam in Spanish, learned about cost functions and derivatives in calculus, talked about Maus and the holocaust in English, and worked on our group project in communications. Even though I have a lot of deadlines and exams coming up soon I think I am in a pretty good place right now with my academics. I just need to hold on tight until the end of the semester haha.
