It's the end of the week, fall has begun and September is officially over. This year has seemed to fly by so fast, one minute it's July and 90 degrees outside and the next minute leaves have begun to fall and Pumpkin Spice Lattes are everywhere! This time of year is my absolute favorite, it is warm, cozy and filled with bonfires, hay rides, and sweaters.

Besides the wonderful season changes this week I was also able to be a part of some fun events. Tuesday I had my first technology committee meeting with Mackenzie. It was cool to hear about what is going on in the IT department and become informed on the decisions and issues they face. On Thursday UC Blue Ash hosted the 50th Anniversary Gala for the college, which raised a lot of funds for UCBA and the students that will be coming here. I was grateful to be able to be a part of the event and see how so many people were willing to be a part of our community and support us. Friday I helped out at UC Smiles which is such a wonderful program. I loved watching the kids get out of the bus knowing that they were coming in to have their teeth cleaned, maybe even for the first time. There smiling faces and energy is contagious.

I had two exams this week, one in my Communications class and the other in my Calculus class. I was a little nervous about the Calculus exam, however I ended up receiving A's on both of the exams which I was so thankful for.

Over all it was a wonderful week! I am so excited for this fall season!
