This past week was the second week of classes. I got a little stressed a few times with trying to get back into the flow of balancing life, work, school, and ambassador responsibilities. However, having a long weekend has helped me to get caught up with everything and ready to take on the next week.

On Monday I worked the Fall Resource Fair where I sat at a table with another ambassador and informed students about our multicultural affairs that we offer at the college. I liked being able to inform students about the opportunities that we have. I also was able to have a conversation with a student that had been in my orientation group when I was an Orientation Leader over the summer. We were able to answer a question that she had and I was encouraged to hear that she loved Blue Ash so far.

Later that day we had an ambassador meeting where all the ambassadors and leaders got together to talk about how our first week had gone. It was encouraging to be able to hear about everyone’s week and catch up. I also was able to gain more understanding of how the semester will look. Over all the meeting was informative, fun, and encouraging.

In my Nutrition and Health class I am starting my food diary which will help me to track what I am eating and make sure I am on the right track. Also I got 100% on my first calculus quiz and have another coming up on Wednesday. We are working on graphing data which can be confusing at times but I think that my professor explains it well.
